What Are the Best Hemp Products on the Market?
As cannabis and hemp-based products have become more widely accepted over the past few years, many people are now not only embracing hemp's many uses, but also the numerous products available to coincide with those uses, fueling a fascinating and largely environmentally-beneficial industry. Here, we will look at just a few of the best hemp products on the market, all of which demonstrate the wide range of possibilities of using organic material.
Cannabis' Medical and Recreational Use
Hemp is a byproduct of cannabis, which is why its most widely-recognized use being ingested for either the THC or CBD chemical content. Aside from vaping cannabis or indulging in edible forms for both medicinal or recreational use, many people still enjoy the use of marijuana by smoking it. If that's the case, the age-old conundrum of dealing with the potent scent or the basic smell of smoke may be an issue to your family, roommates, or neighbors.
As a prime example of how hemp acceptance can facilitate a booming industry, this problem has been addressed with odor eliminators. Users can now purchase candles, air fresheners, or an innovative weed odor eliminator spray, all of which are used to clear the air, replacing the smell of weed with a pleasant scent or variety of fragrances. In effect, this makes cannabis more enjoyable (and the odor tolerable) for users, as well as the people around them.
Hemp Manufacturing and Distribution
Although there is an incredibly large number of job opportunities within the hemp and cannabis industry (from growing and cultivation to manufacturing and selling through retail stores), the relatively new business model tends to lean towards small businesses and startups. In that regard, new industrial products have come along to provide a perfect solution for cultivators and manufacturers in their packaging and sales. For example, specific label machines and shrink sleeve applicator equipment are now available for the bottling and distribution of hemp oils and liquids. Much like traditional shrink tunnels and conveyors, the shrink sleeve machine offers the best results in sealing tamper-proof bottles that are safe for shipping and store stocking.
Part of a Healthy Diet
Perhaps the second most common use of hemp is as a part of a healthy, organic diet. With a long list of health and wellness benefits, they can be the best value option for the diet-conscious. Hemp seeds are not only high in protein and low in calories but are incredibly versatile as an add-on to all sorts of recipes for those keen to use only natural ingredients in their cooking.
Hemp seeds can be sprinkled on top of a salad, blended into smoothies as a meal replacement or post-workout drink, and can even be baked into dessert pastries. With a nutty flavor, hemp seeds can be substituted for pistachios as well. For example, hemp seeds contain all nine essential amino acids and are proven to help with arthritis and joint pain, eczema, constipation, and, much like yogurt, can aid in improving hair and nail growth.
Office and Stationery Alternative
Aside from holistic medicinal purposes, the second-oldest use of cannabis and hemp is as a form of paper, which dates back thousands of years. Despite that popular use, however, the legal prohibition of cannabis itself over the last century gave rise to the use of wood-derived paper products, which has had an unfortunate environmental impact on the planet's forests. With new trends in accepting hemp products, however, people are now looking at the earth-conscious benefits of using hemp paper for their offices and as common stationery. As an example, one acre of hemp can produce the same volume of paper as an average of 110 trees. In addition, while trees can take up to 8 decades to mature for paper use, hemp only requires 4 months!
As a durable alternative to traditional, wood-based paper products, hemp is convenient, cost-efficient, and significantly lowers our society's overall environmental footprint.
