As I try to figure out what to pack to my trip to Italy and Ibiza, a challenge since all I want to bring with me is a backpack and a round straw bag in which I must fit enough clothes and accessories for a week and a half trip, well I’ve realized which I consider to be essentials for this summer. So today I thought I’d share them with you with the hopes this might help you building or perfecting your wardrobe for this summer.

SILK SCARF

The amount of things you can do with this make it the number one essential for the summer. From headbands to skirt and tops the possibilities are endless.

ESPADRILLES

I live in Spain so this had to be on this list. They make any outfit more summer like, they are comfortable even with the heels and they are just beautiful.

STRAW BAG

We’ve seen it everywhere and there’s a reason for that, it is summer in a bag and it looks good with everything (if I’m honest I’ve already been thinking of ways of incorporating this hot weather item in my winter wardrobe, even if it’s just for bulk shopping at the market) also I would recommend going local and handmade for this to make it that more special.

OVERSIZED BLOUSE

This just came to my mind yesterday and honestly I can think of quite a few reasons why this could be very useful and make quite a few different looks, from casual to more dressed up.

Although you can wear sunglasses all year around, I definitely do that, what better time to wear a good statement pair that takes your outfit to a whole new level?
