I recently uploaded a post here on Fashion Potluck regarding my elite athlete experience and talked about my elite gymnastics career. I also explained in that particular post that I have gone through a personal journey myself over the last 15 years. This is where you come in because I'd like to share all that knowledge with you. Whether it be me listening to your story, share how I dealt with (similar) experiences, or just brainstorm about your purpose in life and what you want to do/become.
Why would you book a coaching call with me?
During my bachelor's degree as a PE teacher and my master's degree in Sports Science, I've learned a lot about coaching others and teaching new skills. As you can see by the title of this post I'm a former elite athlete, so I know a thing or two about perfectionism, having high expectations from yourself, how to motivate yourself, how to set goals and how to achieve them. I can teach you how to benefit from those skills to get more motivated or achieve your goals.
When I quit elite gymnastics I was completely lost and really had to try to fit into a world I barely knew. During this period I developed an eating disorder and was suffering from depression. Therefore I consider myself a peer supporter or peer mentor for those types of mental health problems and can be a peer mentor for you!
Of course, there are many more things we could talk about. If you're not sure just leave a comment down below or shoot me an email (email@example.com) and we can take it from there!
What you can expect from this 45-minute coaching call?
I can hear you thinking what do I get from this coaching call, well let me explain to you what you can expect.
1. I'd like to get to know you a bit more, what you do and why you booked the session.
2. Dive into the challenge and see what's holding you back or where I can help.
3. Together we'll come up with 2-3 actions you can take in order to take the next step in your journey.
Of course, the third one is optional and depends on if you just want me to listen or want to help you figure out what your next steps or actions could be.
How to book the call?
After you paid, you get a PDF file via email explaining what you purchased, what you can expect, and how to prepare. In the PDF file, there's also a link to my Calendly so you can book a timeslot in my calendar. There are limited days available because I also have a full-time job. If there isn't a timeslot that fits your schedule, just let me know and we can book something together. We'll figure it out!
How to prepare?
Well, the only thing you need to do is - if you would like that - explain to me in the Calendly appointment or in a separate email what you'd like to talk about or need help with. This way it is easier for me to prepare the call and also for you to get the most out of your call. Please note that I'm not a psychologist only a peer mentor. I do have some skills from my bachelor's and master's degree, but I'm not a licensed psychologist. That said I'm always happy to listen, share my knowledge and experience where I can! And from experience with family and close friends, they are always very happy, relieved, or inspired after they had a chat with me.
Of course, fashion potluck members get a 20% discount on the first coaching call!
Hope to speak to you soon!
