Having surpassed viewership in 62 million households, it is now Netflix’s biggest scripted limited series to date. Telling the story of a young orphan, Beth Harmon, it follows her rise in the competitive chess world as she navigates struggles in her personal life as well. Being the only woman in a male-dominated game, there are plenty of moments throughout the series where Beth shows she can stand her ground both as a woman and as a player.
