Today, on the 8th day of our advent calendar, we are featuring a licensed clinical psychologist - Megan Rhoads, PsyD.💤 

Dr. Megan Rhoads, Psy.D., has been positively impacting families and individuals as a psychotherapist since 2012. She obtained her doctorate degree in clinical psychology in 2015 and embarked on a cultural immersion journey in Mexico that same year. She completed her post-doctoral clinical hours in the Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic at Kaiser Permanente, Rancho Cordova, California and became a licensed psychologist in 2017.

While weathering the COVID-19 pandemic in Morelos, Mexico, with her fiancé and two Italian Greyhounds, Dr. Rhoads became a TEDx speaker with her upbeat, informative presentation titled Jingle All the Way! As Dr. Rhoads continues to empower her psychotherapy patients to take charge of their lives, she also enjoys an additional career focus: executive coaching with an emphasis on drastically improving sleep quality and duration. She offers a 6-week program that walks individuals through making the small daily changes that are scientifically shown to have the biggest impact on their nightly functioning (i.e., sleeping soundly!), as well as their work lives and home lives. Dr. Rhoads’s mission is to empower individuals to find their innate abilities to walk this Earth as their true selves: powerful, positive human beings.

Today we are featuring wonderful Marcia Morgan.🌟 

Marcia K. Morgan, Ph.D., brings a wealth of experience helping women reach their potential and find their voices. Drawing on more than 45 years as a national consultant, researcher, trainer, and author on gender and crime, this sought-after motivational speaker tackles the causalities of women’s dreams, and presents tools on how to recapture those dreams, in her book, “GO! How to Get Going and Achieve your Goals and Dreams at Any Age.”
 
Dr. Morgan has consulted with the US Department of Justice, the Pentagon and was selected to represent the US in Italy at the NATO conference on victimization. She has appeared on numerous television, radio, and podcast programs.
 
Morgan and a colleague developed the ground-breaking anatomically-correct dolls, now used worldwide to interview child sexual abuse victims. She initially made her mark heading up one of the first all-female law enforcement rape investigation programs in the US. As Executive Director of Migima, LLC since 1980, Marcia oversees an innovative firm that provides high-energy consulting services in criminal justice and social issues for women.
 
Morgan is an author of numerous books and articles, translated into multiple languages, on gender issues. Marcia, her husband, and yellow lab Farfel live in Bend, Oregon.
