5 Tips How to feel comfortable stepping out of your comfort zone
Today I want to talk about stepping out of your comfort zone this is something that I struggled with for a long time and probably still do to some extent: body positivity when it comes to clothes.
For a long time, I was self-conscious about my body and how I looked in clothes. I would only wear things that I felt comfortable in and didn't care about fashion or how I looked to other people.
However, over time I've realised that clothes are a way to express yourself and your own personal style and that you shouldn't let your own insecurities get in the way of that.
You kind find out how I started my self-love journey here.
Stepping out of your comfort zone
For many of us, the idea of stepping out of our comfort zone when it comes to clothes can be a daunting one. We might worry about what others will think or whether we'll look good in something new. But the truth is, fashion is supposed to be fun! It's a chance to express ourselves and experiment with different styles.
So today, I want to share some tips on how you can step out of your comfort zone when it comes to clothes and feel good doing it.
It might feel uncomfortable at first
When you step outside of your comfort zone, it's important to remember that most people won't even notice. This can be a freeing feeling! You're wearing something unique and making an effort for yourself. Who cares if others judge or stare? All the attention should go on how great YOU feel in YOUR own skin instead...
You might be surprised by the compliments you receive when stepping out of your comfort zone. You are wearing something that makes you feel good, and this should all matter!
1.Start small
Small changes can make a big impact and help you feel more confident. If the thought of wearing something outside your comfort zone feels overwhelming, start small Try adding embellishments to plain clothes in areas where they're usually not found (like jeans). This will give them personality without changing anything else about how we dress ourselves each day
A lot of people might be scared at first glance when looking over their wardrobe, but little modifications like trying new colours or patterns aren't really so far removed from reality after all.
If we want to wear something that's a little more daring, we can start with small steps like accessorising more often.
Not everyone is born with an innate sense of fashion, but that doesn't mean we can't all look great. With a bit of creativity and effort, everyone has the potential to develop their own style.
And it all starts with making small changes.
So don't be afraid to experiment and have fun with fashion. It's not about following trends or being perfect. It's about expressing yourself and finding what works for you.
2.Find inspiration
Inspiration can come from anywhere!
Sometimes all we need to get inspired again is a little bit of inspiration. Look at your favourite celebrities or style bloggers and see what they're wearing. Chances are that will remind you how it's done too.
Or go one step further and create a mood board of your ideal style. This can be done either physically by cutting out images from magazines or online by saving pictures on Pinterest.
Plenty of inspiring people are killing the plus-size fashion game, and we're here to make sure you know about them. So go ahead and give these ladies a follow for some major outfit inspo.

3.Think about what you want to achieve
When you take the time to think about what you want to achieve with your style, it will be easier to figure out how to get there. Do you want to feel more confident? Be taken more seriously? Attract a certain type of person?
It's okay to want to change the way you look, but make sure it's for the right reasons. Remember that clothes won't magically fix all of your problems but can help you feel better about yourself.
And if you're unsure where to start, that's okay too! Just take it one step at a time.
4.Don't be afraid to ask for help
If you're really not sure where to start, don't be afraid to ask for help from a friend or family member who has great style. They can give you some suggestions on pieces that would look great on you. Or, if you're shopping online, take advantage of the customer service chat feature and ask for advice from a stylist.
I have said this before: Get into The Go love yourself community on Facebook. It has been excellent in helping me with my body confidence and love for myself.
5.Be confident
The body is the most fantastic machine we have. It's no wonder our minds sometimes feel like they're playing tricks on us, with negative thoughts about how we look and what other people think of us!
Don't let the negative self-judgement get to you. It's only natural for our minds and bodies to react in different ways; just remember that no one is judging us more than we judge ourselves, so wear those tight clothes or embrace your curves! As long as confidence flows through, you'll find others follow suit naturally.
So the next time you find yourself in a negative headspace, take a step back and remember that everyone has different thoughts and feelings about their own body. You're not alone! Just be confident in who you are and what you look like.
Final thoughts
I hope these tips have helped you to step out of your comfort zone and try new things! Remember, fashion should be fun, so go ahead with confidence. Most importantly, rock whatever it is that makes YOU feel confident in life because we're all unique individuals who deserve happiness just as much as anyone else does (even if they don't know about their own beauty). Be kinder to yourself!
