An Open Letter To My Teenage Daughters

    Dear Teenage Daughters,

As you enter into this challenging but exciting time in your lives, I want you to know that I will always be there for you. No matter what happens or how far apart we may be, I will always love you and be proud of you. You are amazing young women with so much potential, and I am grateful to be your mother.

I may not always say the right thing or be able to fix everything, but I promise always to be honest with you and to listen to you. I will do my best to understand what you are going through, even if I can't relate to it myself. Growing up isn't easy, but I also know that you are strong and capable of overcoming anything life throws your way.

As you go out into the world, I want you to remember that you are loved and supported by your family. We will always be here for you, no matter what. And I hope that you will find happiness and fulfilment in whatever you choose to do with your life.

I want you to know I love you with all my heart. You are the best things that have ever happened to me, and I am proud to be your mother. I am grateful for every moment we spend together, even when we're arguing or when things are tough. And I promise to always be here for you, no matter what.

I remember what it was like to be you, and I know that this world can be tough. But I also know that you are strong and capable of anything. So go out there and conquer the world.

The pressure to be perfect is immense, but you don't have to be perfect. You just have to be you. Don't worry about other people's opinions or what they think of you. Just be yourself and be happy. I know that you can do anything you set your mind to, and I believe in you.

Forgive over and over again. Life is too short to hold grudges or be angry all the time. Let go of the negative things and focus on the positive. Be kind to others, even when they don't deserve it. You never know what somebody else is going through, so always try to be understanding and compassionate.

Learn how to value your purpose in life. It's not about the material things you have or the achievements you make. It's about the impact you have on other people and the world around you. Be humble and always keep learning. You never know when you'll need that knowledge or those skills.

Finding love is important, but it's not the only thing that matters. So make sure you find out what makes you happy and go after it. Don't let anyone else control your life or your happiness. You are in charge of your own destiny.

Make mistakes, learn from them, and then move on. We all make mistakes, but it's what we do after we make them that defines us. So learn from your mistakes and then let them go. Please don't dwell on them or beat yourself up. Just move on and try to do better next time.

Be yourself. Don't try to be somebody else. Embrace your quirks and your weirdness. We all have it, so own it!

Be proud of who you are and let your personality shine through.

    Always follow your heart

    • Trust your instincts
    • Your ideas are worthwhile
    • You can say no
    • Your choices matter
    • You make a difference

No matter what happens in life, know that I will always love you.

    Always your biggest supporter,

    Mum x
