I love decorating for the holidays as much as the next girl, but the reality is I’m a senior in college and saving every penny to move in the spring. I don’t have the budget (or sadly space) to buy and store a ton of decorations. If you’re also taking the minimalistic approach to the holidays, you’ve come to the right place! I’ve rounded up the best decorations under $100, so we don’t have to miss out on the holiday cheer! Want more holiday decor on a budget? Visit my Amazon shop page!
Oh, Christmas Tree!
There is nothing better than a real Christmas tree that warms the house with scents of pine, spruce or fir. Unfortunately, getting a real tree isn't feasible for everyone. Because I live in a college apartment, I have a 5-foot artificial tree that hiding in my hall close until November.
Besides a decorated Christmas tree, a decorated table is my second favorite way to start the holiday season. My mom kills it when it comes to holiday tablescapes in terms of creativity. For this reason, it has always been something I look forward to on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
