Happy Canada EH!

EH!! Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians!

I don't know about you but July 1st came so fast for me. This is month 5 with this pandemic and we have been making progress.  I say that's been positive and I'm hoping we all can maintain this level of progression and hope that we see continued success.

Toronto has finally opened most of its businesses and we are somewhat back to normal. Of course, we are still practicing our social distancing and our constant washing/sanitizing of hands. I've heard in the news that the mayor wants to implement wearing masks to be mandatory when entering businesses starting July 7th. Of course, we will all comply, in order for our country to strive and completely flatten this virus.

Mentally I know its been really challenging. I know that for me I was so excited when I finally was able to go to my salon and do my hair! Even a simple task as that lifted my spirits, and when my son came home and not resembling wolverine, I ran into his arms and gave him the biggest hug ever! Seriously, little things like that can lift your mood and you feel better about yourself. It's been forever for even just a simple thing as being allowed to groom yourself, made such a difference.

I  saw the change immediately. People in the mall smiling, allowed to pick an outfit, sitting outside on the patio enjoying a drink in the sunshine with a few of their friends; laughter in the air, children in the wading people splashing and just being their normal selves again, just made me feel so good inside.

July, I hope you be good for us, as long we are good for you.

Happy Birthday, Canada, thank you for being a great country!
