    JULY 2020 FAVORITES

TWENTY ONE PILOTS – LEVEL OF CONCERN

I might be a few months late, but I am currently obsessed with the song, “Level of Concern” by Twenty One Pilots. I’m not even a fan of Twenty One Pilots but I randomly heard “Level of Concern” on the radio one day and instantly loved the song. Especially in the world’s current situation, it helps put me at ease. The song is upbeat and uplifts my mood.

    TOPO CHICO MINERAL WATER

Another popular item I’m late to like is Topo Chico Mineral Water. I’ve been seeing it everywhere – on social media, on TV shows, and even at work! Since I’ve seen Topo Chico Mineral Water everywhere, I had to try it. So when I was at CVS, I grabbed a bottle. And oh my goodness! It’s just carbonated water but it really helps kick my soda craving. I’ll definitely be buying more Topo Chico Mineral Water in the future.

    SECHE VITE TOP COAT

Another one of my July 2020 favorites is my all-time favorite top coat from Seche Vite. Since the coronavirus pandemic hit, I haven’t been able to get a gel mani. Instead, I’ve been doing at-home manicures with Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish. However, I don’t really like the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat so I’ve been using Seche Vite top coat instead. I’ve been using the Seche Vite topcoat for years but I forgot how amazing it is. It gives an even, shiny finish that looks like a gel manicure. If you want a DIY mani that looks professional, definitely top your varnish with Seche Vite topcoat.

    CLARISONIC MIA 1

A few weeks ago, Clarisonic announced that they were going out of business. To honor the beloved skincare brand, I’m listing the Clarisonic Mia 1 as one of my July 2020 favorites. In 2015, the Clarisonic Mia 1 was the first biggest skincare splurge I ever spent on myself to date. And it’s still one of the best investments I ever made for myself. It helped exfoliate and clear up my skin. Since I started using the Clarisonic Mia 1, I haven’t had cystic acne like I used to!

    FOREO LUNA MINI 2

Although I splurged on the Clarisonic Mia 1 a few years ago, I’ve recently switched face cleansing tools. Over the years, I soon realized how unhygienic the Clarisonic Mia 1 brush head was. I felt like dirt and makeup were harbored in the brush head bristles. So I opted for a more hygienic option. During last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I got the Foreo Luna Mini 2 at a discounted price. Let me tell you, it’s definitely a game-changer! I don’t have to worry about the silicone bristles harboring dead skin cells and bacteria. And even better, I don’t have to spend any more money to change the brush head every three months! The Foreo Luna Mini 2 is definitely a better long-time skincare investment than the Clarisonic brushes. Or as some estheticians would say, “It’s a skinvestment.”

So those are my July 2020 favorites. I definitely focused more on self-care and skincare this month. And just a heads up, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is right around the corner. Who knows what beauty steals I’ll find this year?!
