5 Jewelry Trends To Watch

Out with the old and in with the new! This year may have brought us all a new perspective, but it’s also bringing us a wave of new jewelry trends! I am no expert by any means, but I thought I would shed some light on a few trends that seem to be all the rage as of lately, and let tell ya, they are GOLD! Literally...

Hoop earrings have always been and will continue to remain a classic. Up until recently we were seeing a lot of smaller, huggie style hoops. But I am here to tell you that is about to change! I love a good pair of thick, bold hoops so I am ready to go all in with this trend! But if you aren't quite ready to separate with your smaller hoops quite yet, then a double hoop look may be a good way to incorporate your older sets with a fun, new set! Go big or go home! I have always been a fan of a dramatic earring, but maybe that's just me! Baublebar has always been one of my go-to websites to shop for earrings because they offer such a variation at a somewhat reasonable price! I don't know about you, but I'm not too upset about saying goodbye to the velvet and satin chokers... Wasn't ever a huge fan of that trend! But this upcoming jewelry trend is something I can definitely get on board with! I'm sure by now you've seen at least one person on your feed wearing a personalized necklace or something similar! People are beginning to stray from the arbitrary jewelry pieces and are clinging to pieces a little more meaningful! Think customizable pieces... Astrology signs, names, dates, anniversaries, anything symbolic! There are so many fun way to personalize jewelry these days, the possibilities truly are endless!

In: BIG & BOLD LAYERED NECKLACES

This is probably one of my top favorite jewelry trends of this year! Layering the pieces you already have or even adding a few new pieces to the mix is a great way to shake things up! And don't be afraid to mix different sized chains, different lengths pendant necklaces, or different styles altogether! Your necklace stack is unique to you and your style and it should show! This year we will be TONS of colorful jewelry options, and I am totally here for it! While I'm sure you know I'm a sucker for a more neutral aesthetic, I think adding some colorful bling to your wardrobe is the perfect way to spice things up!
