TRAVEL

Cala D'or
Mallorca
Mallorca is a small, but fascinating island. While many youngsters go particularly to Palma de Mallorca, which offers a lot of parties, here's my to-do list for those who are actually taking break of parties, or just prefer chilled vacations.
And, if you want to see the vlog I made in Mallorca, take a look here.
I stayed in Cala D'or, which is full of private villas and family hotels. As well, as it is the more expensive area of Mallorca, there are not so many young party crowds.
3 Must-do Things in Mallorca:
1) Rent a car
During my 8 days stay in Mallorca, I did it only once. It was a fascinating trip, with serpentine roads, blue blue water, canyons, mountains, etc. I would recommend spending at least 2 days exploring the island on a car. Pleasant bonus: there are plenty of amazing beaches on the way, so there's no need to sacrifice your beach days for that;)
2) Swim in the open sea
Rent a boat, or order a boat trip with one of the local companies. First of all, the color of water is gorgeous and indescribable. Water is clean, transparent, and full of colorful fish - it is absolutely safe to jump into water even at great depths!
3) Have dinner at one of the small villages
Local food and Sangria is a must try! And, where else if not in small villages they will cook it in a proper way. Amazing paella, fruity sangria and gorgeous views are guaranteed!:)
xoxo Julia
