In Florence, Italy, a gelateria called Sbrino has been making waves among city-dwellers. Nestled in the trendy neighborhood of Santo Spirito, the small gelateria is popular with locals of all ages, and study abroad students all looking for a treat.
What's on the Menu?
Their main fare is gelato, but they also have other offerings like a Gelato Brioche Sandwich and more seasonal offerings like Italian-style Hot Chocolate.
Gelato Flavors:
They offer the classic gelato and sorbet flavors like Stracciatella, Pistachio, and Lemon, but where they stand out is with their experimental offerings like Persimmon and Eggnog.
My favorite flavors are Orange & Campari, Speculaas (a crowd favorite), and Sea Buckthorn.
Why is it my favorite?
Unlike some gelaterias, Sbrino's gelato is made daily and in small batches. Making small batches ensures that every scoop is fresh and high quality. The diverse selection of flavors is enticing and innovative, so customers always have something new to taste. Lastly, the staff at Sbrino is fantastic! They are very accommodating, and they make the experience so much sweeter.
