Shoppers Drug Mart Haul | Using my PC Optimum points
Serious question, whats better than free makeup? Go on..i’ll wait…the answer is not much my friends. Makeup can get super pricey, a single bottle of foundation can sometimes cost close to $100 and with how quickly I go through it (doing my makeup every day and recording a youtube video every week) I can’t justify spending that much money on it! Which is why I am obsessed with my PC Optimum points, I know what you’re thinking – that this video is sponsored but its not I just really love collecting points! For those of you that aren’t Canadian, PC Optimum is a points card that can be used at any Shoppers Drug Mart (Canadian drugstore), Real Canadian Super Store (grocery store) or Esso gas station, every time you use your card on a purchase, you rack up points which can be used at any of those retailers and I know I always use my points on free makeup! Shoppers carries some amazing makeup lines (although it seems to vary from location to location) but all the amazing brands can be purchased straight from their website and you can even use your points!
I racked up quite a few points the other day, so I decided to go on a bit of a shopping spree. I filled my cart with a foundation, concealer and a few other items, then went over to the sephora website and did the same thing. The drugstore cart was a fraction of the cost of the sephora cart AND i was able to use my points to get free stuff! Don’t get me wrong, I love me some sephora, but I love a bargain even more.
