November chill list

    November chill list

I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that we are just two months away from the end of the year. Don’t know exactly where the time went but I know for sure I need a bit of the holiday spirit during November as well, so here is my list of blessings you can try to make the last month of fall more enjoyable.

    1. Black Friday sales

The first thing that comes into my mind when I think of November is Singles day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I do my best not to create a huge list of items that I plan on buying, but I do try to get some of the things I want at a better price.

Furthermore, I sometimes preplan for the Christmas presents that I know I want to get.

TBH this year, I have my eyes set on a Pinko purse that I would love to get my hands on, putting this into the universe, maybe I will get it at a better price. :-p

    2. Hot choco and mulled wine

Finally it is cold enough outside to justify the hot chocolate intake along with the mulled wine. In preparation for winter, I love to get my stash into my house and relax while covered in a soft blanket.

Not to mention, the sweater season is here, finally I get to wear cashmere and soft cardigans. Even if I am not a big fan of the cold weather, I do admit that I was happy to change my summer wardrobe to the winter one.

    3. Rom-coms movies & books

I would go as far as saying that even the Christmas ones can be already started. Netflix added them to their list already.

It’s finally the time to use some of those extra hours of night to something good.

I do recommend the movie Love Hard ( currently on Netflix) for a chill night in.

For the books, I would definitely go with: Where the crawdads sing, by Delia Owens and The Paris secret, by Natasha Lester.

    4. Wooden cabins getaway

During fall, I am absolutely in love with walks in the forest and enjoying the color of nature. Yet if I want to take that to the next level, a weekend getaway at a wooden cabin, where I get to enjoy the silence of nature and maybe even get to make a fire myself, it’s the perfect adventure.

A couple of weeks ago I got to find an amazing place at a 3h drive from where I am leaving and I plan on returning there in every season, have a look around you and see if you can find a cozy place for a short vacation.

    5. Ballet, Opera or Theater

Another great thing during fall, is the new events that are available during the season.

The Nutcracker is one of my personal favorites and I am so happy that the Covid-19 restrictions are now allowing us to go to the theater.

What are your chill activities for this fall?

Wow luliana, these are some amazing things to plan in the list. I agree this year felt like just yeaterday we had welcomed 2021, and now it's almost coming to an end. I have mixed feelings to say goodbye to 2021. It has given me so much more that I will always be grateful forever! I wish you get to enjoy these two wonderful months of the year <3 Thank you for sharing this list. Love it!!

Indeed it's hard to say goodbye to 2021, but I am looking forward to a new start on 2022, hopefully it will even better than 2021
