Looking for the right dress for New Year's Eve party?
We might be celebrating at home during this pandemic time, but it should not stop us from looking fabulous.
It's said that how you begin your January the 1st sets the tone for the rest of the year. You might be jumping 7 waves, smashing a plate or do other traditions to bring luck into 2021, or ... you could simply create your very own new good luck tradition: Dress in confidence!
Why you ask?
When you wear what reflects who you truly are, you feel confident. When you feel confident you believe everything is possible for you to achieve. And when you believe in yourself you are not afraid to live the life you deserve. As easy as that!
On the opposite side >> If you don't match your outer appearance with the inner self you most likely feel "dressed up", uncomfortable in your own skin and you send this message to others too.
So lets our clothes make the right statement and mirror our best self!
Who is there with me?
I am bringing some inspiration - dress only this time.
... and more inspiration on how I would complete the look. And oh, I'd like to mention >> I love to add some kind of editorial vibe into the final outcome. So stay with me if this is something you might be interested in <3.
Turtle neck under the geometric dress, fastened to define the waist and to create nice proportioned hourglass shape. Maybe try to roll up the sleeves of the dress to let the vibrant royal blue color out!
Put the socks on, jump into the shoes, grab the bag and you are ready to go! Maybe just to another room, but who cares, you look fabulous!
Throw the flannel shirt over the silky dress, unbuttoned and connect it with the clutch belt bag. Atypical ballet flats would not probably be most women's first choice, but that is the trick! You are not most of the women, you are you!
Maybe add golden flat chain to make a use of the V neck or would it be better over the shirt, under the collar? Try and experiment.
So here comes the final question: What are you going to spend the last day of 2020 in?

Ugh, I love your choices. Selected Femme styles are wonderful. I have no idea what to wear yet, but it will be probably something minimalist this year. Thank you for sharing your inspo :)

I am 100% here for this! Great way of showing the importance of feeling confident in our skin- and in our clothes- and I love that you went with a more interesting colour palette than the usual red/champagne/green ones we see for NYE.

Thank you Silvi! I think we should not restrict ourselves with what others expect us to wear, how we are expected to behave, etc. not only on NYE but in general. Those blockers prevent our personality to shine through!
