Bottega Organica Skincare Review

I love it when a skincare brand has a genuine passion and dedication to the ingredients in their products. Bottega Organica produces 100% certified organic products backed by medical research. Organic ingredients are grown on their 50 acre farm in Italy, where they harvest essential, natural ingredients. The property is pesticide free, and they can be sure of its purity because the property has been in the family for over 500 years. Pretty impressive, huh!

All skincare products contain salvia haenkei (also known as prawn sage), which is a powerful anti-ageing ingredient that has been scientifically proven to slow down the ageing process. I was recently lucky enough to try two of their luxuriously clean skincare products, and they certainly lived up to expectations.

Nourish Face Oil

In addition to the prawn sage, this nourishing oil contains other skin loving ingredients such as rosemary, lemon balm and grape leaves. It’s quite a rich oil and a little goes a long way. This is the perfect oil to soothe and protect dry or mature skin.

Restore Face Mask

This product is so unique, I haven’t come across anything like it. More of a balm than a mask, this provides intense hydration and can be washed off or left on the skin if you’re having serious issues with dry, dull skin. Being an olive oil based product, this does leave a small amount of residue (even after washing off) so is suited towards dry, ageing skin. It leaves the skin calm, soft and hydrated.
