Mochi  - a heavenly puff Japanese rice cake

Have you ever tried the cute little round, colorful Japanese rice cakes Mochi? You can find them in all kinds of flavors and all colors of the rainbow. I just love them! 

How I found about my all-time favorite highlighter palette?

A few months ago I got the NYX Highlighter Palette Love you so Mochi Arcade Glam. The moment I saw it, it was love at first sight. I just had to have it! 

Their Mochi highlighter collection consists of two variations of highlights for every taste. However, their Love you so Mochi makeup line doesn’t end with the highlighter palettes. There are also two eye shadow palettes with different shade variations.

My choice and impressions

I chose the lighter highlights palette as my skin is very light and they fit me perfectly- light beige, cotton candy pink and snow white. They are quite pigmented and brighten up your face instantly. I love the combination of colors in each palette because you can use the highlights either separately or mix them to create a beautiful diamond glow, rainbow blend. Make up has never been so much fun! You can play with the colours and create your very own unique look, especially with the eye shadow palettes. 

 Here in Amsterdam, you can buy your very own palette in the nearest NYX store or through their online shop for about 19€. 

Similar Highlighter Palettes

As this year the rainbow, unicorn or mermaid (every brand uses a different term) makeup is very trendy, it is quite easy to find holographic highlighters from various makeup brands- for instance, The Hi-Lite Palette by Lime Crime (32.98€), the Unicorn Heart by I Heart Revolution (5.99€) or the Holographic Highliting Palette by Naked Cosmetics (25.98€). Nevertheless, the NYX I love you so Mochi Palette is my absolute favorite!
