L’Oreal Colour Riche Collection Exclusive lipstick - My take on it!

How I first found out about the L'Oreal Color Riche Collection Exclusive lipsticks?  

A few months ago I was looking for a very specific purple-ish color lipstick to match my lip liner by KIKO but I just couldn’t seem to find the right one. That is why I was extremely happy when I discovered the L’Oreal Color Riche Collection Exclusive lipsticks. Since then I absolutely love them! The color that I bought was 705 Jennifer’s Pink. Don’t be confused from the name though. It was the perfect match for my “raspberry” purple lip liner. It is the perfect combination of matte finish and rich hydration.  The colors are intense and last for the whole day without fading away. After this I bought another color from the pink shades again- more intense and strawberry-like (709 Liya’s Pink). 

Before I try L’Oreal Color Riche, the only matte lipsticks that I really liked were the liquid NYX cream matte lipsticks. Now I am in love with the Collection Exclusive lipsticks. Even though the colors are intense, they look really natural and are suitable either for everyday wear or for a night out. I am usually prefer the pink shades as my skin is very light but there is also a really nice nude shade collection. And the red shade collection is absolutely stunning! 

Product reviews and personal experience

I've read many reviews online and most of them are really positive. But, of course, there are always some negative experiences. When it comes to lipsticks, as every other beauty product, skin type matters. Also, it depends on your hair, eye and skin color. So a lipstick shade that will fit me perfectly might not fit you and vice versa. Also, depending on the skin type different kinds of lipstics may look different. That's why there are a lot of comments regarding the color fit. Some reviews also mention that this kind of lipsticks are not really matte because they have sparkle but, honestly, I think it's all about your different skin type as, to me, they are perfectly matte.

As these lipsticks are limited collections you might not be able to find them just anywhere.

Where to buy them?

I bought mine from Walmart in the US but in the Netherlands you should  be able to find them in Kruidvat on the L’Oreal make-up shelves and  Douglas Stores or order them online from bol.com and amazon.de.

Price?

The price of a Collection Exclusive lipstick is not more than a Mac or NYX lipstick but it is about 15 euros more or less depending on the  European country and around 18-20 dollars in the States.

I honestly recommend the L’Oreal Colour Riche Collection Excusive lipsticks. Since I first discovered them, they have become my lips’ best friend. :D I am definitely excited to check out their new Collection Exclusive shades! What about you?
