Review Shein Make-Up

Today we are talking about a brand that you probably already know: Shein. I discovered this website/app about three years ago and over time I've learned to trust the products they sell more and more. 

Let me explain better. Initially I had my doubts that things were too cheap and especially if they would ever arrive. Everyone knows it's a Chinese brand, so I had my doubts about the quality and shipping times. I wondered if it was really worth trying. 

The first order I made was small and I only got a few beachwear dresses. The clothes arrived in about 15 days (In Italy, but of course it depends on your country) and I was very satisfied for the price I paid. Shipping is free and you can get many discounts depending on the percentage of money you spend.

 I found out that I could get nice clothes that I easily find in other low-cost chains like H&M, Pull and Bear, Bershka but at half the price. Also, the advantage of Shein is that there is really everything. You can find new collections but also all kinds of clothes, accessories, household items, make-up, etc.

Since then, I have started to have regular orders on Shein and get more and more things. From my personal experience I think the secret is to search well and read user reviews. In this way you can get a comparison on how the clothes fit and the quality of the product.

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE SHEIN MAKE-UP

Given my positive experience with orders I decided to also buy make-up on Shein, because I read so many positive reviews about it. Their make-up line is called Sheglam and I was pleased to learn that it is totally cruelty free. You can see why these are cheap products because they are very simple but nice packaging: the price range is from 2 to 10 euros. 

I have never regretted this because I must say that for the very low price the quality is good. Again, I think they are like make-up products that you might find in the big brand chains (H&M for example) but obviously they are not ideal products for a make-up guru.  

I'm not a big make-up guru myself, I just buy very basic products and use the same ones without experimenting with eyeshadows or lipsticks. Of course, if you want to try you have a full line also for lipsticks and eyeshadows palettes to choose from and these are beautiful! 

For this reason I only bought make-up products such as a concealer, eyebrow pencils, an eyeliner, and lip balm. They are all basic products with which I found myself very comfortable with, I have bought them again over time and I am very satisfied with the final result.

And, when you buy a make-up product Shein gives you the opportunity to buy another one for a few cents, so you have double chances to save money! Shein is also very useful for buying make-up accessories such as foundation sponges and facial rollers.

Now I want to show you all the products I bought by giving you more detailed reviews for each one and hoping it will be useful to you!

CONCEALER SHEGLAM  - VERSATILE FLAWLESS

This concealer is amazing! I bought twice one lighter for the winter (Alaska color) and a darker one for the summer (Fez color). Covers your dark circles completely and redness with a luminous-matte finish. It is creamy and easy to apply. It absorbs very quickly and for me that is the biggest advantage. Concealer colors are packed with hydrating ingredients and buildable coverage for all skin types!

It was easy enough for me to find the right skin shade because the colors on the website are reliable and thanks to the many reviews, you can compare with other people.

Also, you can buy it for 3 Euros but there are a lot of products inside! It is a very good price compared to the quantity.

EYEBROW PENCIL SHEGLAM

I tried two different eyebrow pencils. One is the Skinny Brow Pencil (2# Dark Brown). This precise brow pencil features a 1.5 mm tip that allows you to define your eyebrows. It is made from natural ingredients and has a very useful brush. I think it is a very good product! 

Also, I tried Sheglam Shape & Set Eyebrow Pencil & Gel Duo (Espresso Color). I think this is a very complete and useful product! One side has the angled pencil to sculpt and fill in your brow to your desired thickness and the other side has a transparent gel to set and lock your brow color and shape in place. Once applied, it dries quickly, without the sticky residue!

EYELINER WATERPROOF – SHEGLAM LINE & DEFINE

This is a best-seller of Sheglam! In fact, it was the first product I bought. I am very satisfied with this product and for the first time I have found an eyeliner with a tip that writes well and remains all day long.

Also, the problem with the other pen eyeliners I've bought is that after a few months they would dry out and stop writing, but I've had this one for over six months and it hasn't happened.

It is very easy to apply because the tip is soft and precise. The shade I took is deep black but also exists in brown.

LIP BALM – SHEGLAM COLOR CHANGING

I tried this lip balm in the pink shadow and I’m very happy with it! Basically is a hydrating lip-balm but at the same time gives you a matte pink on your lips. It is a soft color and I like it for this reason. I use daily with any type of make-up and it is very versatile. 

This color, Pink Shadow - changing balm adjust to the temperature and natural pH of your lips, diving them a radiant glow. The formula is made from olive oil, avocado oil, and vitamin E which keeps my lips soft and moisturized.
