The honest review: Carli Bybel palette from BH-Cosmetics

I wasn’t particularly looking for any products when I purchased this palette. But once again, you just come across some reviews online, see the price tag of US $12.50 (wow) and there you go, you buy it!
The popular YouTube blogger Carli Bybel has launched her palette not that long ago, and it was sold out immediately. I was expecting a selection of the best eye shadows, as Carli has hundreds of beautiful makeup tutorials and nearly 4 million subscribers.
And this is my honest review:
Overlooking the cheap paper packaging, which got a bit ripped on the edges already, the palette is not that special! I only use the matte eye shadows (like 2 or 3 in pink) and 2 of the highlighters, which are quite nice. The matte eye shadows are beautiful, and quite pigmented, as well as the highlighters/bronzer. However, for the price tag, I must say it’s worth it. I am not a big fan of shimmers, so I don’t use the majority of the eye shadows.
But when I think about it, I would spend at least $12.50 for 2-3 eye shadows and highlighters anyways… So, I'm ok with the purchase, but I myself wouldn’t buy it again.
