Black beans and walnut burger with avocado puree

    ½ cup red rice, 1 cup water, 1 x 540ml canned black beans, 1 avocado, ½ cup deshelled walnut, ¼ cup oat flakes, 1 tbsp dijon mustard, ½ tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp onion powder, salt, 1 onion, ½ cup cherry tomatoes or 1 tomato, romaine lettuce, vegan mayo, 5 burger bread

    I’m a super fan of burgers, but this black beans walnut burger is something else. 

    The black beans and walnut gives it a “meaty” and hearty texture, while the onions and tomatoes adds a sweetness, the avocado finishes it perfectly with it’s creaminess. This is my favorite burger ever!!
