Chocolate Overnight Oats

    Ingredients: • Rolled oats 180 gr • Chia seeds 2 tbsp • Milk 500 ml • Honey 2-3 tbsp • Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp • Raw cacao powder 2 tbsp (or good quality cacao powder) • Salt a pinch Toppings: • Roasted almonds about 15 gr roughly chopped • Dark chocolate 25-30 gr chopped (you may use organic like I did) • Peanut butter smooth 2 tbsp (unsalted) Method: 1) In a large bowl mix well together the milk with the honey, vanilla, cacao powder and salt. 2) Now add the oats, chia seeds and mix again. Divide equally the oat mixture in 2 mason jars, or small bowls, and refrigerate overnight. 3) The next day, top with the almonds, chocolate and peanut butter (dividing them equally) and serve.

    It's got chocolate! Yay!!! It's healthy and perfect for breakfast! Double yay!!! This overnight oats recipe is the afterthought of my chocolate oatmeal bake (why not right?), and it's absolutely  yummy!!! Every bite feels decadent (you can thank the chia seeds that give a pudding -ish feel to this recipe), and its toppings add the needed texture to every mouthful you get.
