Chole bhuna (chickpea curry)

2 onions, 2 tbsp fresh ginger, 5 garlic cloves, 1 tsp garam masala, 1tbsp chili powder, 2tsp ground coriander, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cumin powder, 4 tomatoes, 1 can (540ml) chickpea, ¼ cup plain non dairy yogourt, juice of ½ lemon, handful of fresh coriander, salt
    Less then 30 minutes Minutes

This chole bhuna is a simple but delicious, easy to prepare, gluten free dish vibrant with beautiful Indian spices and tangy citrus taste.

Chole bhuna is a dish from the Indian subcontinent; it is usually fairly dry and spicy with a sour citrus note, and is widely sold as snack food and street food in India and Pakistan.

My version as a bit more liquid and is less spicy ( my tolerance for spicy is very limited), and is great served with basmati rice or any Indian bread.
