Beautiful Amazon Farmhouse Bedroom Decor

Let me start by saying my dream bedroom is currently just wall studs and a concrete floor. BUT one day (soon I hope), it will be my dream bedroom. In case you haven’t heard, we are DIY building our own home and that tends to take…awhile. One day though…it will be a real room with covered walls, floors, and everything! So until that day comes, I’m going to keep obsessively looking for affordable Amazon farmhouse bedroom decor!

I just love the farmhouse decor theme and I will be oh so sad when it makes an exit one day. I mean, it will at some point. That’s what design trends do but I will ride this trend until the very end. I may even be that 70 year old woman who hasn’t redecorated since the early 2020’s at some point. I’m ok with that. 

OK, picture it, my bedroom, 2020. (Golden Girls reference, anyone?) I like simple so I’m thinking 3 white walls and a wallpaper accent wall. I want something pretty and floral for the accent wall. I found this gorgeous wallpaper from Wall Vision and I’m thinking it may just be the winner! It’s soft and pretty but bold at the same time. I’m in LOVE.

So we already have bedroom furniture. I found the same or similar items on Amazon so you get the idea. My favorite pieces are most definitely the night stands. I’ve always wanted mirrored furniture and they’re gorgeous! It adds a touch of glam to the farmhouse theme.

Now, for the fun part…decorating!

I want to keep things as bright and minimal as possible but still make the room feel cozy. I want to focus on bedding, curtains, and a few decor items.

First up is bedding. I don’t want anything that’s going to compete too much with the floral wallpaper so I’m going to go with solid white. However, even though I’m going completely neutral, I can play with textures to add interest. I found this duvet that I’m absolutely in love with on Amazon–it’s gorgeous and white but has fun fringe around the edges that make it not so boring. It also will keep the room from looking too feminine since the wallpaper could be a little girly (my husband will appreciate that!). For throw pillows, I’ll probably keep that simple as well. Amazon has some really affordable pillow cover options and I really like these velvety light blue covers.

Next up are curtains. Again, I don’t want to compete too much with my floral wall so I’m thinking sheer white curtains. The bedroom only has one window and it looks out onto the awesome covered front porch–but that also means we’ll need all the light we can get in there!

To finish things out, we just need some fun decor! I love tobacco wall baskets, mirrors, picture frames, and a few knick knacks. But, like I’ve said, I don’t want to overwhelm the room because it isn’t huge. Below you’ll find a few ideas I have. You’ll notice that I continue with the mirrored or mercury glass items–they’re just so glam, pretty, and bright! Plus, mercury glass adds an antique touch that goes perfectly with the farmhouse theme.
