pro·cel·er·a·tion | AN INTERESTING READ FROM MEDIUM
I came across a truly interesting read on Medium that I would love to share with you.
The article was written by Zander Nethercutt and you can take a look at it here.
We are Optimizing Ourselves to Death
What happens when tech gives us more leisure time? We work.
That was the line that caught my attention.
Basically, the article talks about how we are the burnout generation, how we fail to relax and get some downtime, as we try to overwork everyone else.
I can relate to that post so much, I find myself working long hours, moving around appointments and meetings to make sure I fit one more into the day and frankly gave up sleep altogether now.
I do love what I do, so most of the times, the impact is painless. I enjoy my time, I feel productive and I love seeing results as I take on yet another challenge.
But what happens when we lose control and make our own lives more stressful and complex?
I would love to hear your thoughts on that and see how we can all help each other out to lead a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
Until the next one,
