LOOKS
Just a few years ago I could not really get women who didn’t pay attention to how they looked. Until I’ve become one of them.
With a postpartum body, a baby consuming all the free time, and a full-time job I found my closet to be my biggest enemy. Or was I just too exhausted to connect with the clothes I once loved?
It took me a while to understand what happened.
Life happened!
I was not who I used to be, my body changed and my personality adjusted to the new lifestyle. Only my style held me back from embracing the change fully and left me feeling frustrated instead.
Materialist? I would not say so. I don’t need many garments (even though I enjoy having variety - let’s face it - but that is a choice).
I just believe in the power of clothes. I know they do influence how I feel and how I act.
And I don’t allow bad outfit choices to ruin my happiness.
Who feels this way too?
Do you believe in the power of clothes? Do you think clothing not only communicates about you as a person but impacts your thinking too?
I have created a poll here. I'd like to hear your opinion.
Until next time!
Love, Zany!

Yes, I absolutely believe that your choice of clothes or outfits not just influence how you feel, but also influences how you think too! Not feeling happy about what I wore today and then ruining my day feeling terrible, frustrated would be my last option to feel sad and or negative. I was there once, but not anymore!
These days I feel more happy and myself, because of the choices of my clothes, and also because I know myself so better than before!! It is so important to know your likes and dislikes, especially for a woman who can get easily frustrated if she doesn't feel herself.
Thank you for writing this important post. I loved reading it!

Thank you Epsita for sharing your thoughts. I love what you wrote.
You made a great point with "knowing yourself". There are many factors that influence our style, but if we don't know who we truly are, we will be overwhelmed with too many choices anyway.

Yes, the power of the cloth is very Strong. It is part of your personal characters, and tells the other who are you. I do always respect a well dressed lady and think those people who do not discount their life quality. I like to be that type of person who treat every day in good turn by dress well.

Exactly, when I rephrase it - the clothes make us who we are in some sense. They tell stories, especially to strangers. And whether we like it or not, we are judged based on what we wear.
