Healthy & Quick Banana Pancakes with Oat Flour
Good morning, community!
Today I was in need of a healthy, nutritious, and delicious breakfast. I had some bananas I needed to use, therefore I decided to make banana pancakes. In order to make them more nutritious and healthy, I decided to go for oat flour, which is pretty much grated oats.
If you want to try also another pancakes recipe take a read here.
Here this quick & easy recipes:
Step 1: Smash one banana with a fork. Add an egg and mix them together using the same fork or a blender (for a smoother texture)
Step 2: Add half of flour and mix. Add milk and the remainder of flour. Mix again.
Step 3: Add sugar and salt. Blend the mixture thoroughly.
Step 4: Add a bit of olive oil (coconut works perfectly too) onto the pan. Make sure your stove is on medium heat.
Step 5: Pour your mixture onto the pan using a spoon, creating small pancakes. Fry it until the downside is cooked (you will also see a lot of bubbles on the surface once it is ready), then flip it to another side.
Step 6: Serve it with peanut butter, honey, and some berries. Yum!
The pancakes should be a bit brownish, it's the normal color for banana pancakes. So, don't think that you burned them. :)
You will get approximately 8 medium-sized pancakes out of this recipe. Enjoy these pancakes and feel free to ask any questions in the comment box below!
Love,
Juls
