Ifisashi with chickpea

    2 onions, 2 tomatoes, 2 sweet potatoes( 2 cups), 2 garlic cloves, 6 cups fresh spinach, 1 can (540ml) chickpea, ¾ cup peanuts, ½ cup water, salt

    This ifisashi is an other great exemple of the deliciousness of African cuisine.

    I’m so happy I started that journey of discovery of African cuisine, I’m making so much great find, like this ifisashi. It is a dish from Zambia, wich is usually a vegetarian greens and peanuts dish,  however, meat can be added if any is handy. In my version, I replace the meat for chickpeas. 

    So this dish is a bit sweet, earthy, fresh, crunchy and sooooooooooo delicious!!
