Monthly Update August

Is it me or does August pass by faster than any other month?
I love August, especially when the mood swing weather of the Netherlands decides to go for a tropical vibe. And when the heat finally kicks in, I’m just like any other Dutch person and bake myself like a potato near a beach or lake. Although my boyfriend had some problems in our sauna bedroom I’d never slept any better. Sometimes I believe I’ve been born in the wrong country.
Hightlights
I joined BM Model Management. It was such a surprise when the director asked me. I consider myself a granny in the modeling world and had my peace with leaving it. Until the director asked me for a photoshoot, and who doesn’t want pretty pictures? The shoot was so much fun and I forgot how awesome it is to create something creative and cool. I feel very blessed to be on board.

The capital of Portugal was a lot of fun. Good food, a wonderful hotel and a lot of sightseeing. Even the plane ride was more fun than usual (as I normally cry out of anxiety) (Jep, I’m afraid of flying).
Lowes
I’ve never been to the first aid before, but this month had to be my first. I was in so much pain that I didn’t know whether to cry or to laugh. The doctors thought I had appendicitis, but thankfully that was a false alarm. Even though the pain slowly faded away, I’m afraid it might return and nobody has any clue what caused it. It might be a bacteria, so fingers crossed for it to leave.

Next month
School starts again and I’m not looking forward to it. Thankfully it will only be 6 months until I receive my Bachelor degree. I will do my graduation assignment on robotics faces and appearance, which probably means that I will commute between the robotics and human media interaction department. I have no clear image of what I want to do after I graduate, but something with fashion and branding sounds alluring. Any tips?
