Summer is almost over, what to do before fall

We are officially in the last weeks of summer and before we jump into fall with the sweaters and the pumpkin spice latte, here are some things you should consider doing.

    1. Camping

The last few warm nights are here and if you want to seize the opportunity and go camping, there is no better time. Chances of rain are low and if you are lucky enough you can see the Milky way during the night.

If sleeping outside is not your thing, go for a wooden cabin or a fancy lodge.

    2. Outdoor cinema

Going in the same direction as the point above, if you haven’t been to the outdoor cinema this year, you might want to get some tickets.

I love movies and I love the cinema, but the outdoor cinema is even better, the smell of fresh air, the night breeze while you cuddle under a blanket, make it even better.

This can also be a great experience with your group of friends, grab some snacks and a blanket and find yourself a movie.

    3. Summer dresses

I know you have that “special” summer dress in your closet that you just didn’t get the chance to wear because of [insert reason here].

Take that reason and create an opportunity for yourself to wear it. You do not want to wait a whole year for that moment..

So go make that restaurant or pool reservation and dress up that beautiful body of yours.

    4. Rooftop party or brunch

After 2 years of being locked in our houses, a little party never hurt anybody, so find yourself on a rooftop to enjoy a night out.

If the party is too much for you, at least go to a brunch there. Enjoy the view as well as the mimosas.

    5. Pool or beach

No summer should go by without good sunbathing as well as swimming.

You don’t have to travel to an exotic place for this, find a pool near you, take your towel as well as your favorite swimsuit, and enjoy the sun.

    6. Bonus point: Festivals

I am not sure if it’s just me, but I feel like this year we had way more festivals than before the pandemic.

If you are the type that enjoys outdoor concerts then it’s your time to shine.

Bring on those boots and a kimono dress and go to a festival.

Even if today you feel like you had enough of extreme hot weather, trust me in November you will miss these days.

Find time to add some summer activities to your list while you still have the chance, winter is coming and with the worldwide situation, it might be a cold and long one.

Let's enjoy summer a little bit longer!
