Leather Pants as a Trend This Season: Where to Buy & How to Wear

Leather trousers have been going in and out of fashion for decades now. This season, Fall/Winter 19/20 the beautiful leather pants have returned to the catwalks and most of the fashion stores. Good news - this season we can find a lot of faux and vegan leather as alternatives to real leather. You might not believe it, but leather pants can be considered a piece of a basic wardrobe - you cant literally wear them with everything.  

In this article, we will look at different brands offering leather trousers this season, both affordable and not really. :) As well, we will look into different combinations and finally - some fashion inspiration.

These are my personal favorites in terms of fit and texture. There are both mass-market and premium segment brands. So, no judgments, choose whatever you like and can afford! ;)

Leather Leggings

I owe one pair of faux leather leggings - they're totally falling apart now, but oh god, I can wear them with literally everything. Generally, on the rainy days (like today), I wear them together with an oversized sweater/hoodie and some leather sneakers. It's comfy, stylish, and you don't need to break your head about styling them.

Straight Leather Trousers

Straight leather pants are classics. Currently, I don't have those, but am really looking towards buying them. I love how they look like styled with white classic shirts, vintage oversized T-shirts with cool prints, woolen sweaters or even crop tops. Here are some cool combinations for you to consider:

1) Dr. Martens boots, Leather Pants, a cool T-shirt with a vintage print, some rusty jewelry

2) Vintage high-heeled sandals (with a thin heel, and a lot of thin belts), leather pants, thin elegant jewelry, an oversized classic shirt (drag down from your shoulders, pluck into the pants), a cool clutch

3) an oversized woolen sweater (turtleneck), leather pants, cool casual sneakers, a big bag

Flared Leather Pants

Unfortunately, my body type doesn't allow me to wear flared pants (or at least they don't look great). However, ladies, if you love those, pay attention to leather flared pants. They look very stylish! Especially, they look great with cowboy boots and sweaters! ♥
