1st Ever Fashion Potluck Awards Season

As 2020 develops to be one of the most strange years in several generational experiences, we hear from our community members different stories about being furloughed, simply fired, having to attend school from their parent’s house, feeling emotionally a bit stressed, and the list goes on.

At Fashion Potluck we love engaging with our community and keeping up-to-date and we believe we can do something to support our international women community. For the next four weeks, we are launching our 1^st Ever Fashion Potluck Awards Season. Just in time, sending our warmest hugs to the outgoing summer and extending our welcome to a curious fall to come.

What does it consist of?

The Maya Prize: giving to the most read content every day. It includes €20, a mention of yourself and FP post in our IG stories, and a post in our Pinterest with close to 300k visitors per month.

Rules:

1. Have a completely filled out FashionPotluck.com profile page.
2. Length: a minimum of 700 words.
3. Images: at least two images, one of them original (i.e. taken by you) included in the article.
4. Two-day holding period: after you win, you need to wait two (2) days before being eligible to win a 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, etc time.
5. 2 Minute Read visits: the users the visit your article must stay on average for 2 minutes. (i.e. enough to read the full article)   .
6. Must be following our @FashionPotluck community on Instagram. 📲✔️

NOTE: 🎥 Videos also qualify and must be at least 5 minutes long, original (made by you) and contain at least 100 words for the caption.

When?

September 10^th to September 17^th

September 24^th to October 1^st

FP Award: given to the most read articles in total during the four weeks of Sept 10^th to Oct 10^th. It includes €120, a post in our IG channel, a mention in our weekly Newsletter, and a post in our Pinterest.

The Fashion Potluck team will count the reads on all the reads in all of the articles you posted from September the 10th until October the 10th. The one with the most reads (2-minute average reads), Wins!

Important: if you win the Maya prize, you still qualify to win FP Award.

We also like to share a bit about ourselves. Those of you that keep in contact with us know that we are a startup; a bootstrapped startup at that. This award means a lot to us and so does our community. We believe strongly that it is together that we have come this far and it is together that we can move forward.

This post will be updated throughout this month’s FP Award Season and we will list the winners of both the Maya Awards on a daily basis, and of the FP Award on October 2nd at 6pm CET, 12pm ET, 9am Pacific Time.
